When my 12 year old daughter was reading the first Edward/Bella book, I made this observation about Edward: “He seems kind of controlling.”
My daughter, outraged at thsi insult to the (apparently) magnificent Edward, refused to speak to me any more for the rest of the ride to school.
I just don’t get the fascination with him. Help me understand it.
