The Snuggie’s Evil Twin

As if Snuggie wasn’t bad enough, now we have this:

Meet “Peekaru” the latest trend in baby wearing. Not that I have anything against baby wearing but this disturbs me. For $80, you too can scare the hell out of everyone around you when you turn around and shock unsuspecting people with a human face sticking out of your chest. I’m sure the baby is beyond adorable in real life, but this totally reminds me of that first Alien movie when the alien popped out of the guys chest, remember that? I don’t even want to THINK about what happens in the event of a poopy diaper. In closely examining the picture, it doesn’t look like there would be anywhere for the smell to go and that officially falls under the DESIGN FLAW category. Now, if you will excuse me, I’ll go back curling up in my Snuggie while thanking God that my two are beyond the age where something like this is even necessary in my life.

Although I could see it coming in handy if The Man is over served this weekend on his birthday and we need help getting him home….hmmm…maybe I’ll order one in XL.
