A Very Nice Award…Plus One I Totally Deserve

Sometimes in life you get what you deserve. Today is one of those days. Jen over at Blissfully Caffeinated was so moved (or nauseated, can’t really tell) by my story of The Man and The Dog that she went and created an award just for me. ME!!! IT’S MINE DAMMIT!!! AND I DON’T HAVE TO SHARE!!! In light of the fact I made at least half of you throw up this week after reading about my husband’s escapades with our dog, she created this little gem just for me!!

Jen, honey? I thank you, The Man thanks you and the pug thanks you. Not really, he just wants to lick you. The dog, that is.

Jen wasn’t done though. She and Sammanthia over at The Edge of Insanity gave me this cute little award.

Awww….thanks! You know I heart you both like crazy!! I’m supposed to pass this on to five bloggers a few who you may not know you, but you should!

I’m going to start by introducing two new blogs to our little crew here and then cover some of my favorite peeps already know…you guys go visit and spread some of the bloggy love I’ve come to know in this group to them. They are super cool, promise.

First up is Goosey Spot . She is the only blogger I’ve ever met in person. That’s because I met her before she resurrected her blogging career. Also? She is a client of mine so for God’s sake…BE NICE PEOPLE. Just kidding, well, I mean she is a client but she’s more of a chick I want to hang out with and have drinks instead of talk about advertising. Also? She just survived a Facebook stalker…turned out to be a teenage girl, but man! It was scary there for a while!

Next on the stage is A Lawyer Mom’s Musings. Guess what? She lives in Dallas…just like me! Guess WHAT WHAT? We are meeting for a glass of wine next Saturday!!! I can’t wait to meet her, she is sarcastic, smart and seems to be in possession of a fairly surly attitude on a variety of topics…in short, she is totally my kind of gal! I got hooked on her almost right away with her stories about life in Dallas and her life observations but you need to READ THIS ONE which is sort of my favorite and will give you an idea of what it’s really like to be a Mom in Dallas. It ain’t for the faint of heart.

Next up, y’all know her and love her…give it up for my gal Tuesday over at A Girl and Her Life. Anyone who can endure a six hour road trip with three little ones plus a potty stop at a public restroom deserves a big WOOT! from me!

Suburban Matron? Spotlight is on you! Anyone who can live to blog about the neighbors you have? Deserves 10 of these! I totally want to come hang out and your house and see this craziness in person. In fact, what are you doing later? I’m on my way….I’ll bring the wine.

Lastly, words are great and all, but pictures speak a thousand words…which is why I’m giving a shout out to April over at April’s Little Family. You guys go there and check out all the great pics she has going on of everything from her kids, to food and parties….even of a chick peeing herself in the subway in Brooklyn. (And you guys thought I was bad?? Pfft)

Now, I know you will all be jealous on this but I’m off to the craft store to get stuff to make a poster for Miss G who was named Star of the Week at school. Also, Mr. C has yet another funky project due, we have to disguise a turkey for Thanksgiving so he can escape his horrible fate. Our turkey? Is turning into the Easter Bunny….in November….good luck finding supplies for that one.
