This morning while I was drinking coffee and eating 27 miniature candy bars a well balanced breakfast, I discovered something over at Sherendipity and Sprite’s Keeper….something called NaBloPoMo.
I was high on sugar naturally curious, so I did a little research. What is it you ask? Let me explain.
It is not a strange yoga pose or a cool new sushi joint. Nor should you immediatley say “Bless You!” if you hear me say NoBloPoMo in public. It is not a toxic chemical that causes hives, rashes or any other type of unmentionable skin conditions.
It does however cause uncontrollable blogging. And I’m totally doing it.
Here’s the deal, it’s National Blog Posting Month and to participate you have to post EVERY SINGLE DAY for the month of November. I like this for so many reasons. First of all, I love the sound of my own voice, don’t you? I could listen to myself for hours on end and do so quite often when I’m sitting and talking to The Man and realize he is no longer listening. Why should his lack of attention and obvious disregard for my sparkling and entertaining conversation cause me to stop talking? Also, it gives me a chance to torture you people for THIRTY DAYS STRAIGHT. That, in and of itself was reason enough for me to do it.
I figure with the election and all the craziness that will follow, plus maybe doing some of Anna’s lists on Mondays, the Spin Cycle at Sprite’s Keeper on Thursday and the incredibly target rich environment of cheerleading competitons I will find myself in two weekends this month (where I suspect there will be a whole lotta crazy goin’ on…) I can find something to talk about.
So there you have it people, me…for thirty days….God help all of you.
